Update: ProsocialLearn games in development

Several consortium members of ProsocialLearn, a 36-month project funded by the European Union, are producing games based on the ProsocialLearn platform that highlight the prosocial elements in the developer toolkit.

ProsocialLearn games currently in development/testing include The Season’s Soup, The Secret Word, Pushy Paddles, Tower Together, – On the Trail of the Golden Bone, Lost in Space, Emotions with Friends and The Chase.


 
The Season’s Soup

Description: The Bunny and The Bullfinch were captured by Igor the Catcher, a minion to the Duchess of Castle who is preparing her famous Season´s Soup. Escape from the clutches of the Duchess, through the maze to the forest and freedom.

The Season’s Soup is a cooperative two-player game.

Pushy Paddles

Description: Pushy Paddles is an exciting cooperative maths game for 5-11 year old players, combining over 400 maths problems in 40 lessons into a fun co-operative, three-player game.

Players practice maths lessons while exercising their cooperation and friendship skills by solving a problems as a group, paying attention to others, taking turns, helping each other, communicating with others, being an active listener and dealing with stress.

Tower Together

Emotions with Friends

Description: Emotions with Friends is an educational game to support children and teachers in classroom activities relating to the demonstration and recognition of emotions and social cues, important prosocial skills.

The game combines the fun of playing with virtual characters and discovering a range of different emotional and social expressions. It is intended to be used in a class room environment as an aid for discussions surrounding facial expressions and other social signals, in addition to enriching the emotion vocabulary of students.
